Living with Morgellons and Lyme Disease: My Journey For the past seven years, I have been battling two debilitating illnesses: Morgellons Disease and Lyme Disease. My life has changed in ways I never imagined. Living with these conditions means constant physical pain, exhaustion, and the overwhelming frustration of not being believed or properly treated by many in the medical community. Morgellons is not just a skin condition—it affects every part of my life. The lesions, fibers, and sensations in my skin make it difficult to function on a daily basis, and the lack of understanding around the disease leaves many of us feeling isolated and hopeless. Lyme Disease, with its wide array of symptoms, has only compounded my struggles, leaving me drained of energy, with cognitive difficulties, and severe joint pain. Despite these challenges, I am determined to keep fighting. I have met others in my small town who are also suffering from these diseases, and it’s clear that we need more awareness, research, and support for people living with these conditions. I refuse to be dismissed any longer. My journey is far from over, but I will continue to seek out proper medical care, raise awareness, and advocate for myself and others who are suffering in silence. I hope to connect with others who are on similar paths, share resources, and find comfort in knowing that we are not alone in this fight.
